It means they can stay in their own surroundings, maintain contact with neighbours, friends and family and stay close to any pets. We understand that one client's home care support needs are not the same as another's. That's why each of our home care support plans is tailored with the individual in mind. Our carers can provide an extensive range of flexible services, including:•Personal Care - e.g., oHygiene - helping with washing, shaving, bathing/showering, personal hygiene, continence care, dressing and grooming, oNutrition - meal preparation and assistance with eating and drinking, monitoring diet and eating, meal preparation and tidy away, checking food expiry dates.oMedical care - convalescence care, medication reminders, assisting with morning ‘wake up’ and evening ‘tuck in’.•Specialised Care - Dementia Care, Palliative and End of Life Care, Complex Care Packages including Double Carer Cover.•Companionship Services - These visits are more socially focused and help reduce the feeling of loneliness with regular social interaction with a friendly face each day.They include activities such as:oCompanionship and conversation, help with reading, reminiscence, oTransport and appointments i.e., prompt and reliable transport services to get you to an appointment safely, on time and home again other examples include: arranging appointments, help with travel arrangements, assist with clothing selection, assist with entertaining, accompanied trips and visits, wedding attendance, short holidays.oGeneral shopping - buying groceries, collecting prescriptions, prepare shopping lists, dry cleaning drop off and collect, accompanying to lunch or dinner.oWe can also provide assistance with access to other Services – such as day centres, support groups, benefits and trusted traders. •Home Help Services e.g., oLight housekeeping, cleaning, dusting and vacuuming, helping with washing and ironing, making and changing beds, organising wardrobes and cupboards, care for house plants, removing rubbish. oGardening, cutting grass, hedge trimming, planting.oAssistance with managing household finance. oPet care - dog walking, feeding, vet visits.o24hr Handy-person service.•24 hour Care or Night Cover - We provide 24 hour care and have fully trained staff for this. Night Cover (either sleeping or awake), and live-in care is also available. •Care whilst on Holiday - We can also provide 24 hour care whilst on holiday, providing a fully trained carer for the duration. •Carer Support Breaks - we undertake your full or part time, caring duties for a specific time period, enabling carers to take a break or meet their own personal commitments.•Hospital Discharge Service - Hospital to home safe scheme.
Out of hours service
Care Needs Ltd operates a dedicated out of hours service which provides back up visits and emergency contact when the offices are closed. Additionally, a senior Care Needs Ltd manager or director is always on call outside office hours.
Every member of the Care Needs team has been through a rigorous vetting procedure before they start working with us. In addition, all staff will always be in uniform and carry a personalised identification card which shows their name, photograph and signature. All receive all the training and support necessary to fulfil their caring role. They are fully insured when working in your home.

We cover the whole of the Stockport area, South and Central Manchester and parts of East and West Cheshire.
We have a range of charges depending on the service required starting at £9.50 for a 30 minute visit and from £17.50 per one hour visit.
